Just Received My Blog Candy!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while.  Been so busy at work that I really can't find the time to actually post the things that I do with my blog candy.  Thanks Celeste at Touched by a Butterfly!  Your handmade flowers are just gorgeous I can't wait to use them!  I can definitely think of some really nice cards up with all the items that I won!  So excited!  This blogger world isn't so bad afterall.  I need to take pictures of the first blog item that I won-mini chipboard album.  Just started to put it together last weekend and need to post my results!

Golf Birthday Card

I just made this card last week for my Dad's birthday. I needed something Golf related since that is about what he does everyday since he retired. Hope he likes the card, all the images were found online by searching in Google. Took me a while to get everything together but I am happy how it turned out!

I sure am loving this blog hop thing!  I won another one today from Celeste on her site Touched by a Butterfly. http://touchedbyabutterfly.blogspot.com/  She really has some nice creations on her site.  Make sure to look there and follow her!  Tomorrow I am going to meet with a bunch of fellow scrapbookers over in the Wind Lake area of Wisconsin.  Need to start crafting and posting more often with my creations.  I did make a few cards the other day and will post them soon.  But off to bed as I am a little under the weather.  Thanks again Celeste!  Can't wait to create.

Posting my new card

Ok, I am posting my first card that I made for my son's birthday. He loves to play the guitar and thought this grunge embossed guitar using three different colors would be cool. I also embossed the YOU ROCK with copper embossing. The Happy Birthday came from my first cricut cartridge Plantin Schoolbook. Overall my 11 year old was impressed. The paper on the left hand side is also glittery, this picture does not do it justice as I am still trying to get my camera to work. Let me know what you think!

I won on my first Blog Hop

I am just so excited!  I was just informed by whatabunchofcraft.blogspot.com/ or She's Crafty that I have won her blog candy on the New Year's blog hop!  I almost never win anything!  I am so excited, I can't wait to receive it and make something with it and post pictures!  Thanks Kris!  She also became my first follower!  Boy I better get to work!  Thanks everyone for starting this yahoo group!  What a bunch of great people!  I have learned so much over the last month and now I really need to put it to good use!

Wow, I did it!

Well, I did it and finally got all my blogs on my site.  Now to work on actually doing some cards and scrapping and get out my cricut and post some pictures!  Hope it doesn't take me as long as it did to set up the blog.  I know all in a days work!
