Another Birthday!

Wow, another birthday! It has really been crazy lately! I am sure you all had a time where it seems that the harder you try to accomplish something the longer it takes to get it done! It almost seems that you are moving in slow motion and will never reach your destination? Well enough! This Friday I am on my way to Lake Geneva for a Weekends Away Scrapbooking Retreat and can't wait!
I just made this card for my niece and I really hope she likes it! Thanks for stopping by and thanks for stopping by to here me whine!

Niece's 13th Birthday Card

Hi, it's me again! I am really liking my IPhone and the ease of posting with Blogger! I made my niece a birthday card for her 13th Birthday! I can't believe she is a teenager! I used some Washi tape and stamps that I just got from Close To My Heart, and the tickets I printed from Persnickety Prints. Actually, it was from a site called uprintables that I found online, sorry about that! I still love the Persnickety website! I have to make another girl birthday card in the next couple of weeks for my other gorgeous niece who just got braces , pink I might add!

I hope you have a great day and thanks for dropping by!

New Fishing Card

Yeah, I know it has been some time since I posted! Time sure does fly! I went to the Scrapbook Expo in St. Charles this past weekend and saw this wonderful demonstration of Sizzix flip cards. Didn't buy the die so I decided to open up an old pal SCAL and have a try at creating the circle flip card. To make a long story short and after a few hours I decided to make a card for my Uncle. He took my boys fishing with his grandson for three days straight and boy did they love being out on the pontoon!

Hope you like! P. S. This is also my first post from my IPhone. hope it works!

Scraplifted Layout

Wow, Spring is finally here and it is totally beautiful outside.  65 degrees is pretty warm for Wisconsin at this time of the year.  I can't say that I like the time change since now it is dark outside in the morning.  But that will end soon hopefully.  I have been creating alot lately but I just do not have enough time in the day to actually take pictures and do the posting.  Sorry it took so long, I hope you enjoy.

I was doing my regular blog hopping and using pinterest to save a bunch a projects.  I was working on a layout and knew it was missing something.  While looking through all my pinned layouts that I am hoping to use as inspiration there it was.  I found this wonderful layout at dapfnie.design and I am just in just in love with her site.  Please hop on over to visit her here.

This is her layout and I really liked the buttons on the bottom of the page and thought it would balance the page I was working on.

Isn't it just beautiful!!!!!  And here is my layout:

Thanks so much for stopping by...hope you have a wonderful scrappy day!

Angela

Birthday Cake-Tiramisu

Well, I did it after about 30 tries....I got my picture off my Tracphone into my email address for the 1st time ever.  Don't know if I will ever remember how to do it again.  But I did it just all of you to see what a wonderful surprise I had at the Cheesecake Factory for my birthday!  There is a candle on top of it and sorry for the picture...but it was the only camera that I had.

Have a great day!
Hugs,
Angela

Valentine Banner

Ok, this is new to me as I have never created a banner at all.  But all in all I am happy with how it makes me feel!  I just wish I took pictures of the top on the mantle and I replaced all the photos with something to do with Valentine's Day!  This year my DH and I will be celebrating out 15th wedding anniversary Feb. 13th!  I had a great birthday today at the Cheesecake Factory and got my birthday Tiramisu...need to figure out how to get my camera picture sent to my email so I can post it!

Anywho...I used the Tim Holz Valentine paper from his Seasonal stack, for the letters I used the Glitter Cardstock stack from DCWV.  There are heart shaped rhinestones on the bottom of each pennant and I alternated between red and clear.  On the letters I used red rhinestones to accent them so they stand out more.  The hearts are from SCAL shape inventory and the red glitter cardstock I got from Archievers.  It sure does sparkle, but it really doesn't show up in the pictures too well.  I used my Crop O'Dile for the first time to set the eyelets and was disapointed when the white finish cracked.  Anyone have a solution for that?

Thanks for stopping by and all comments are welcome!  Have a great night!
